Greetings all metal heads, rockers and punks \m/\m/

The Holy Grail of Rock is UCT Radio (104.5fm)'s rock and metal show.
We broadcast every Wednesday between 21:00-24:00 (practically) without fail. We do broadcast live and you can listen through our webside www.uctradio.co.za for live streaming.
DJ Fluffee and her team; The Music Imp Tamantha and the Pixie of Death-and-everything-that-starts-with-a-D hail from
this sleepy little city better known as Cape Town. We like to think of it as South Africa's rock capital,
but you may beg to differ. If you do- let us know :P

Our goal is to promote South Africa's rock scene and all the talent that is located here in this country right under our very noses. We love all things rocking and rolling. We eat, breathe and talk rock and as of February 2010 UCT Radio (104.5 FM) gave us the opportunity to express our passion for rock music over the air waves. Each week we bring you the sounds of rock, metal and all the sub-genres in between. We talk to local bands from all over the city, we have a Feature Band every week; a band that is from the history books of rock, we have a weekly news update and a gig guide that lets our listeners know whats rocking all over the city.
The show is not solely about the music though; we also talk about, discuss and inform listeners on the lifestyle behind the rock scene. Because really being a metal head or rocker or those of the alternative spectrum has evolved to not being about what you listen to, its become apart of who you are.

This website is just another form for us to interact with YOU our listeners. So take a look around, maybe even register or fill out a forum. We would love to here what you think about the show, the bands and the music. We hope to make The Holy Grail Of Rock everyone's first stop for South African rock and metal. If you've browsed our website or are a fan of the show on Facebook you'll have noticed the bunny. We call him The Rock Bunny and he's our mascot. We wanted something to represent us that was truly out of the box and would make people wonder. A bunny with wings was our answer! We hope that you'll love our little mutant as much as we do.
